On April 25 and 26, the Amsterdam Writing Workshops is organizing The Great Poetry Workshop 2015: For Poets & Writers of Prose at the Amsterdam Central Library. Poet Ann van Buren and writer Lisa Friedman will explore, among other topics: how to use poetic techniques to enrich prose, how to create meaning in poetry and prose, how to concentrate like a poet, three ways to write a poem, and how to get rhythm. The Amsterdam Writing Workshops offer around two workshops a month to form a community around people who write, to secure a safe place for receiving feedback, and most of all to help writers write.
