2020 is the four-hundred year anniversary of the Pilgrim Fathers departing the Dutch city of Leiden and landing in what would eventually become the United States of America. The Ciconia Consort will organize a special Concert Tour, playing the music of composers who followed in the footsteps of the Pilgrim Fathers. Follow the trajectory of American classical music as it slowly evolves from a European-centric style to a more distinctly American identity. The tour starts on May 1st, and runs through to the beginning of June.
