BAK, the Basis voor Actuele Kunst in Utrecht, will host the exhibition Tony Cokes: To Live as Equals. The exhibition consists of a selection of Cokes’ video works of the past 30 years. It shows his critical perspective on society and asks the question: How can we break the cycle of oppression and inequality, how can we Live as Equals?
The exhibition runs from February 28 to May 17, and is a part of BAK’s long-running research project Propositions for Non-Fascist Living. The exhibition is co-sponsored by The Netherland-America Foundation.
