American author George Saunders won the Man Booker Prize for Fuction 2017 for his first novel Lincoln in the Bardo, which is about the death of Abraham Lincoln’s son William Wallace Lincoln and deals with the president’s grief at his loss. The Man Booker Prize for Fiction is a literary prize awarded each year for the best original novel, written in the English language and published in the UK.
