On May 12th, American novelist Jess Walter will pay a visit to book store Zwart op Wit in Amsterdam. In 2006, Walter’s 2005 novel Citizen Vince earned him the Edgar Allan Poe Award for best novel and his 2006 novel The Zero was a finalist for the National Book Award. Walter has published eight novels and a collection of short stories, and also writes screenplays. Additionally, he is a career journalist and co-author of the non-fiction bestseller In Contempt.
