Lecture by poet Rita Dove

For the third time, the Poetry International Festival Rotterdam will host Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Rita Dove (Akron, Ohio – 1952). Nova has had a major impact on American letters, not only through the nature and quality of her work, but also by serving as an ambassador for poetry. Her work is lyrical and at the same time marked by a keen historical and political consciousness. Saturday 15 June, 6:30pm – De Doelen, Jurriaanse Zaal.
