Friend of the Institute Marilynne Robinson is this year’s winner of the Library of Congress Prize for American Fiction, a lifetime achievement honor. According to acting librarian of Congress David S. Mao, “Marilynne Robinson captures the American soul, with the depth and resonance of her novels.”
