New Yorker interviews T.C. Boyle

The New Yorker recently published T.C. Boyle’s new story, titled The Shape of a Teardrop, about an adult man who refuses to move out of his parents’ house. In this interview the American novelist and short story writer explains how he came up with this idea. Boyle visited the John Adams twice. In 1995 to talk about his book The Tortilla Curtain and in 2015, to discuss his novel The Harder They Come.
