Philadelphia Assembled

Initiated by Dutch artist Jeanne van Heeswijk, Philadelphia Assembled explores the Philadelphia’s changing landscape and tells a story of radical community building and active resistance.

As the first exhibition of its kind at the Philadelphia Museum of Arts, Philadelphia Assembled joins art and civic engagement. Initiated by Dutch artist Jeanne van Heeswijk, together with hundreds of collaborators from across the city, the project explores the Philadelphia’s changing landscape and tells a story of radical community building and active resistance. Callenging, inspiring, and expansive as te city, Philadelphia Assembled asks how can we collectively shape our futures?
