On 17 September, the John Adams will host Ottessa Moshfegh, who has been touted as a “crucial” new voice in American literature. Her prizewinning novella McGlue (2014) is literary and experimental, and her short stories have been published in such distinguished magazines as the Paris Review and the New Yorker. Her novel Eileen was nominated for the Man Booker Prize and her short story collection, Homesick for Another World, was named a New York Times Notable Book of 2017.
