Every year, IDFA welcomes some 2,500 international documentary professionals in Amsterdam during eleven days of films, industry events, panel discussions and much more. As part of the IDFA program, ‘This Changes Everything’ will be screened on November 21, 23, 25, and 26.
‘This Changes Everything’ is based on the book of journalist, publicist, activist and former guest of the John Adams Institute Naomi Klein. The climate crisis offers opportunities to change a reprehensible economic system by shifting the focus from growth and profits to human values and the natural world. In voice-over, Klein underpins her story with portraits of communities at the front line of climate change.
