On March 31, Amsterdam Academy will host a lecture on changes in the media landscape. Using the US and the Netherlands as test cases, Ruurd Bierman – director of the Mediafonds – and special guest Jonathan Key will discuss the rise of online television, the renewed move on the part of cable networks to redefine and narrow their brand, and the perpetual state of flux that characterizes the state of the Big Three/Four broadcast networks.
