Panel Discussion: Pilgrims From Leiden

On 25 Jan. the American Book Center will host a virtual panel discussion about the Pilgrim Fathers. Experts will talk about the light and darkness that these radical separatists brought to the New World, from William Brewster’s enlightening library of 400 books, to treaty violations on the part of today’s U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.



On 25 January, 6pm, the American Book Center and Harvard Book Store will host a virtual panel discussion about the Pilgrim Fathers. Several experts will talk about the light and darkness that these radical separatists brought to the New World, from Puritan William Brewster’s enlightening library of 400 books, to William Stoughton’s dark presence as judge at the Salem Witch Trials in 1692, up to treaty violations on the part of today’s U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.
