Round Table Conference on Transatlantic Relations

On April 17, the Netherlands Atlantic Commission will organize a round table conference on transatlantic relations under the spell of the Ukraine and Middle East crises. A panel of experts will discuss European and American handling of crises in Russia and the Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, and IS.



On April 17, the Netherlands Atlantic Association, the Germany Institute at the University of Amsterdam (DIA) and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, with support from the US Embassy in The Hague will organize a round table conference on transtlantic relations under the spell of the Ukraine and Middle East crises. Nadia Arbatova (IMEMO, Russian Academy of Sciences), Hans Binnendijk (SAIS), Joost Hiltermann (International Crisis Group) and James Jeffrey (Washington Institute for Near East Policy) will be among the speakers that will discuss such questions as: In what direction are American and European politics manoeuvring themselves? Russia and the Ukraine crises, Syria, Iraq, and IS: how to cut the Gordian knot?
