More than 60 Asian American organizations filed a complaint with the federal government on Friday alleging that Harvard University discriminates against Asian Americans in the admissions process and calling for an investigation. The Harvard Crimson wrote that 64 groups filed the complaint with the U.S. Education and Justice departments, arguing that the university makes an “unlawful use of race” in its decisions that hurts Asian Americans.
On May 28th, Professors Jerome Karabel and Alexander Rinnooy Kan were guests at the John Adams Institute to discuss the admissions processes at Harvard and other Ivy League schools, and how they compare with Dutch universities.
